David H. DeWolf - Chairman

Founder and CEO David DeWolf has guided Three Pillar Global to become one of the mid-Atlantic's fastest growing companies, expanding to seven offices on four continents since January and enjoying triple digit growth each year since its founding in 2008.

David is passionate about accelerating business and is an active member of the business and technology communities in Northern Virginia. He sits on the Advisory Boards of Verdant Strategies and iMPACT Enterprises, is a member of Legatus, and a graduate of Mindshare, a forum of CEOs the D.C. area's most promising technology companies.

Before founding Three Pillar, David was a Principal at Digital Focus where he oversaw the development of custom software solutions. He has consulted for a wide variety of businesses, from Fortune 500 companies to startups.

David earned his Bachelor degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he studied Communications and Theology. He and his wife Teresa have six children.

William Coleman

Bill has 10 years of experience building technology companies in diverse roles, from product development, to senior management, to venture investor. Bill is the former board member and CFO of BigTick Financial Solutions based in Chicago. The firm and its subsidiaries' main focus was to provide support and services designed to enable proprietary futures traders from around the world to achieve faster execution times. The firm’s main services arm was acquired by Interactive Data in 2010. The remaining business is now one of the leading providers of futures trading brokerage services in the space. Prior to BigTick, Bill worked in Corporate Strategy for Chatham Technologies based in Dallas. Chatham was a leading provider of integrated electronic packaging systems to the communications industry. The company was acquired by Flextronics in 2000.

Currently, Bill is the CIO for a multi-family office based in Dallas. In addition to serving on Three Pillar’s Board of Directors, Bill currently is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Light Foundation of Dallas. Bill earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Westmont College of Santa Barbara. He later received an MBA from SMU in Dallas.

Michael Dering

With over 25 years experience in the technology industry in the Mid-Atlantic and Silicon Valley markets, Michael Dering regularly mentors founders of emerging companies and has served on various boards of directors of emerging companies in this capacity. His experience will assist our management in business and operational analysis pre- and post-investment.

Most recently Michael was President and CEO of ServiceBench, Inc., a privately-held SaaS business focused on optimizing the delivery of post-sale service by integrating the service supply chain to increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Service Bench was sold in early 2008 to NEW, Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Service Bench was financed by venture capital, and each venture investor generated significant venture capital returns from the sale.

Prior to ServiceBench, Michael served as President and CEO of CrossAccess Corporation, a multi-national venture-funded software infrastructure company that focuses on integrating corporate business functions with new e-business applications. Prior to joining CrossAccess, he served as President and CEO of two Bell & Howell companies. Under his leadership, Bell & Howell Mail and Messaging Technologies doubled its profits and grew revenues to $500 million while cultivating a broad customer base that included telecommunications carriers.

Michael holds a BS from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Mary Dridi

Mary Dridi is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer with a wide range of experience and success with both private and public technology companies, primarily in software, IT services and internet/ecommerce.  She was instrumental in the growth and management of webMethods, Inc., which was recognized as the strongest revenue growth software company in the U.S. from 1998 to 2002 ($0 to $200 million).  She also led the company’s IPO which was the most successful software IPO to date in 2000. 

Mary was named CFO of the Year by the Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC Technology Councils in 2002.  Ms. Dridi currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Geostellar and buySAFE and is a member of the Deloitte Tech Venture Center Board of Advisors. She was previously a board member of Metastorm from 2008 to 2011 when it was acquired.

W. Ed Johnson

Ed Johnson is a seasoned business leader having served as an entrepreneur, executive, and investor for over 40 years. He is the founder and former CEO of several companies including Grandy's Country Cooking, an early innovator in the quick-service homestyle food business. Ed has served as a board member for several organizations, including Papa John’s and Don Pablo's.

Ed is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he chairs the Finance Committee. He was formerly the interim President and CEO of Christian Community Action (CCA). With 1,800 volunteers, 100 employees, and an $8 million budget supported largely by donations, CCA provides food, shelter, healthcare, and welfare to thousands of people in 48 communities. He currently serves as Chairman of CCA.

Todd Bramblett

Todd Bramblett has over 25 years executive management experience leading technology and consulting companies. He has a proven track record of delivering results in everything from venture funding to sales and marketing, where he has produced triple-digit quarterly revenue growth.

In 2003, Todd co-founded LeverPoint, LLC, a company specialized in improving software product development speed, cost and quality measures via a network of global delivery centers. Prior to LeverPoint Todd worked at Ikimbo Inc., assuming the CEO position in June 2002. During his time there, he provided the vision for a new product utilizing a hybrid onshore-offshore software co-development model. Lessons and methods from that model provided the foundation for LeverPoint, and informed the success of the Three Pillar Global software co-development model today.

Prior to Ikimbo, Todd has served as founder and executive leader with Washington DC-based technology companies ASPEN, EdgeMark Systems (later BroadPoint Technologies), and CompAcct, Ltd., later sold to GE Capital Consulting.

Todd completed his undergraduate studies at Covenant College in Chattanooga, Tennesee, pursuing major and minor degrees in computer science, accounting and psychology.

Bobby Christian

Bobby Christian leads the sales and business development/strategy team at Three Pillar Global. Bobby is the former EVP and GM for Enterprise Consulting Group of American Systems, where he lead the consulting division, targeting the healthcare, telecommunications, financial, energy, and travel & retail markets. He was formerly CEO of True North Solutions, which was acquired by American Systems in July 2004. Prior to that, Bobby served in a variety of executive roles and board positions in privately held organizations. He is a member of the Potomac Officer's Club and is a graduate of MindShare.

Bobby is also Chairman of the Board of Provision International USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to needy leaders in southern African countries, and he sits on the advisory boards of several local technology companies.

Bobby earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

Larry Simpson

Larry Simpson is an entrepreneurial senior executive with vast experience in CEO, President & COO and Vice President positions for Operations, Product Development, and Sales and Business Development. His market experiences have spanned the commercial, government, and international sectors. He has served as an executive and on the Board of Directors of many private, public, and non-profit organizations including Cryptek, General Kinetics Incorporated, Global Partnership Intl., LeverPoint Capital Partners, Bethany Christian Services, and Prayer Crisis Referral Network.

While with Cryptek, Larry led innovative teams that developed patents, coordinated and managed internationally disbursed product development teams, gained 41% of the market share including the US, Pacific Rim and Western Europe, and achieved multiple acquisitions. Global Partnership International established strategic equity partners in Eastern Europe for technology production and country reconstruction. Most recently with LeverPoint, Larry managed the international business operations of software services in Argentina, India, Romania, and the US for US clients.

Larry graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served his commitment as a Naval Officer prior to departing the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in 1984. Larry and his wife, Laurie, have four children.
